3. Installation Steps
-
Determine the installation location:
- Choose a position convenient for operation without interfering with other equipment movement
- Ensure the mounting surface is flat and sturdy
- Reserve sufficient operating space
-
Secure the valve:
- Fix the valve to the mounting surface using bolts
- Ensure the valve is firmly installed without looseness
- Pay attention to the valve orientation to ensure smooth pedal operation
-
Pneumatic connection:
- Identify port functions (P: Supply, A/B: Output, R/S: Exhaust)
- Use appropriate sealing material (e.g., Teflon tape) on threaded connections
- Connect ports according to the pneumatic circuit diagram
- Ensure connections are secure and leak-free
-
Install the guard (if equipped):
- Align the guard with the mounting holes
- Secure the guard with screws
- Ensure the guard is firmly installed without interfering with pedal operation

4. Operation Guide
4.1 Standard Type Operation
- Unstepped state: Valve is in initial position, P→A connected, B→R connected
- Pedal depressed: Valve switches, P→B connected, A→R connected
- Pedal released: Valve automatically returns to initial position under spring action
4.2 Lockable Type Operation
- Unstepped state: Valve is in initial position
- Pedal depressed and pressed down: Valve switches and locks in position
- Pedal depressed again: Lock released, valve returns to initial position under spring action
4.3 Operation Precautions
- Depress the pedal smoothly, avoiding excessive force
- Avoid frequent continuous operation to prevent shortened valve life
- If abnormal sounds or increased resistance are noticed during operation, stop use immediately and inspect
- Keep the pedal clean to prevent foreign objects from entering the valve interior

5. Maintenance
-
Regular inspection:
- Weekly: Check valve exterior for damage
- Monthly: Inspect connections for leaks
- Quarterly: Verify operational performance for smooth switching
-
Cleaning:
- Clean the valve exterior with dry compressed air
- Wipe the pedal surface with a neutral cleaner
- Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents
-
Lubrication:
- Generally no lubrication required
- If lubricated air is used, ISO VG32 or equivalent grade oil is recommended
- Lubrication frequency depends on operating environment, typically quarterly
-
Storage:
- Clean the valve and apply anti-rust oil for long-term storage
- Store in a dry, ventilated environment free from corrosive gases
- Avoid direct sunlight and high-temperature environments
