AC Series Hydraulic Buffer - User Guide

Product Introduction
The AC Series Hydraulic Buffer by WENK Pneumatic is a high-performance damping device designed to absorb and dissipate kinetic energy during mechanical impacts. This product effectively reduces shock, vibration, and noise, protecting equipment and improving operational stability. It is widely used in automation systems, robotics, material handling equipment, and CNC machinery.

Key Features
-
Efficient Energy Absorption: Utilizes hydraulic damping principle to convert kinetic energy into heat energy, effectively reducing shock and vibration
-
Adjustable Damping Force: Equipped with an adjustment knob for precise control of damping force based on load and speed requirements
-
Multiple Model Options: Offers various cylinder diameter and stroke combinations (such as AC0806, AC1008, AC1210, AC1412) to meet different application needs
-
Compact Design: Compact structure, easy installation, suitable for space-constrained applications
-
Durable and Reliable: Made of high-quality materials to ensure long-term stable operation
-
Low Maintenance Cost: Reasonable design, simple maintenance, long service life

Operating Instructions
-
Model Selection
- Select the appropriate buffer model based on load weight, impact speed, and installation space
- Model identification: The four digits after AC represent cylinder diameter (mm) and stroke (mm) respectively. For example, AC0806 indicates 8mm cylinder diameter and 6mm stroke
-
Installation Preparation
- Check if the buffer appearance is intact, without damage or leakage
- Confirm the flatness and verticality of the installation position to ensure the buffer can properly absorb impact
- Prepare necessary installation tools and accessories
-
Proper Installation
- The buffer should be installed horizontally, with the mounting surface perpendicular to the impact direction, deviation not exceeding ±1°
- Fix the buffer with appropriate bolts to ensure secure and reliable installation
- Ensure good contact between the buffer's piston rod head and the buffered object to avoid eccentric load
- After installation, manually test if the buffer extends and retracts smoothly
-
Damping Adjustment
- After initial installation, set the damping adjustment knob to the middle position
- Test the buffering effect under no-load condition, observe the deceleration process of the buffer
- Based on actual load and speed, rotate clockwise to increase damping force, counterclockwise to decrease damping force
- Conduct load testing after adjustment until ideal buffering effect is achieved
-
Usage Monitoring
- Regularly observe the working status of the buffer to ensure no abnormal noise or leakage
- Check if the piston rod surface is damaged or contaminated, keep it clean
- Record the buffer's usage frequency and working conditions for subsequent maintenance

Precautions
-
Load Limitation: Do not exceed the buffer's rated load and impact speed, avoid overloading
-
Installation Direction: The buffer should be installed horizontally, avoid inversion or excessive tilt angle
-
Ambient Temperature: Working environment temperature should be within -20°C to 80°C, exceeding the range may affect performance
-
Avoid Contamination: Keep the piston rod surface clean, avoid dust, oil, or other contaminants entering the buffer
-
Regular Inspection: Regularly check the buffer's sealing performance and oil condition to ensure normal operation
-
Professional Maintenance: For repair or replacement of parts, professional personnel should perform the operation

Maintenance
-
Surface Cleaning: Regularly clean dust and oil from the buffer surface to keep it clean
-
Piston Rod Protection: Keep the piston rod surface clean, avoid scratches or corrosion
-
Seal Inspection: Check if the seals are intact and if there is any leakage
-
Oil Inspection: Regularly check oil quantity and quality, replenish or replace if necessary
-
Storage Requirements: When not in use for a long time, store in a dry, ventilated environment, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature

Troubleshooting
-
Poor Buffering Effect: Check if the damping adjustment is appropriate, adjust the damping force
-
Piston Rod Not Resetting: Check if the reset spring is damaged or if there is air inside
-
Leakage: Check if the seals are damaged, replace if necessary
-
Abnormal Noise: Check if foreign objects have entered the buffer or if parts are loose
