ASV Series Pneumatic Angle Seat Valve - User Guide

Product Introduction
The ASV Series Pneumatic Angle Seat Valve by WENK Pneumatic is a high-performance fluid control valve that uses compressed air as the power source and is controlled by a solenoid valve to achieve quick opening and closing automation. It gets its name from the 90-degree right angle of the valve body and features large flow capacity, fast response, good sealing performance, corrosion resistance, and long service life. It is widely used in fluid control applications in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, water treatment and other industries.

Key Features
-
Efficient Flow Control: 90-degree angle seat design, flow path close to straight line, large flow coefficient, small pressure loss
-
Multiple Control Methods: Available in single-acting (spring return) and double-acting control methods
-
Safe and Reliable: Single-acting type can automatically reset (normally open or normally closed) when air supply is interrupted, improving system safety
-
High-Quality Materials: Valve body made of stainless steel 304/316, seals made of PTFE, good corrosion resistance
-
Flexible Installation: Can be installed in different positions as needed, the best installation method is with the actuator facing upward
-
Quick Response: Short opening and closing time, suitable for applications requiring rapid response
-
Long Service Life: Reasonable structural design and high-quality materials ensure long-term stable operation

Operating Instructions
-
Model Selection
- Select appropriate valve material and seal material according to medium characteristics, pressure, and temperature
- Select single-acting (normally open or normally closed) or double-acting type according to control requirements
- Select appropriate valve size according to pipe size
-
Installation Preparation
- Check if the valve model and specifications meet the usage requirements
- Check if the valve appearance is intact, without damage or leakage
- Confirm that the fluid medium is compatible with the valve body and seal materials
- Prepare necessary installation tools and accessories
-
Proper Installation
- Confirm installation direction: The valve body is marked with an arrow indicating the medium flow direction, must ensure that the installation direction is consistent with the arrow direction
- Pipe connection: Reliably connect according to the interface form (thread, quick-connect, flange, welding), ensure sealing to prevent leakage
- Air connection: Connect clean, dry compressed air source to the solenoid valve's air inlet (P port) through the air pipe
- Electrical connection: Connect the solenoid valve cable to the control power supply according to the wiring diagram, note that the voltage level must be consistent with the solenoid valve coil marking
-
Commissioning and Operation
- Slowly open the upstream valve, gradually pressurize the pipeline and valve, check for leakage at the valve body and connections
- Manual testing: For models with manual operation function, check if the valve action is flexible through manual operation
- Pneumatic testing: Control the opening and closing of the valve through the solenoid valve, observe if the valve action is smooth and without abnormal noise
- Adjust air source pressure: Adjust the air source pressure according to actual needs, usually the working pressure range is 0.3-0.8MPa
-
Daily Use
- Regularly check if the air source pressure is stable within the specified range
- Observe if the valve action is normal, without abnormal noise or leakage
- Record the valve's usage frequency and working status for subsequent maintenance

Precautions
-
Medium Compatibility: Ensure that the fluid medium is compatible with the valve body and seal materials to avoid corrosion or damage
-
Temperature Limitations: Note that the medium temperature and ambient temperature should be within the allowable range of the valve
-
Pressure Range: Do not exceed the rated working pressure of the valve, avoid overloading
-
Installation Direction: Strictly follow the arrow direction on the valve body for installation, otherwise the valve may not close properly or the seal may fail
-
Air Source Requirements: Ensure clean and dry air source, it is recommended to install a triple unit (filter, pressure reducing valve, oil mist device) in the air circuit
-
Safe Operation: In high-temperature medium applications, avoid direct contact with the valve to prevent burns
-
Maintenance Space: Ensure sufficient maintenance space around the valve for easy inspection and replacement

Maintenance
-
Regular Inspection: Regularly check the sealing performance, air connection and electrical connection of the valve
-
Air Source Treatment: Regularly drain water from the filter to keep the air source clean and dry
-
Lubrication Maintenance: For double-acting valves, a small amount of lubricating oil can be injected into the air port regularly to keep the cylinder well lubricated
-
Seal Inspection: Regularly check the wear of seals, replace them in time if damaged
-
External Cleaning: Regularly clean the external part of the valve to keep it clean and facilitate observation of the operating status

Troubleshooting
-
Valve Not Operating: Check if the air source pressure is sufficient, if the solenoid valve is working normally, and if the air circuit is blocked
-
Valve Not Closing Tightly: Check if the seals are worn, if there are impurities in the valve seat, and if the installation direction is correct
-
Slow Valve Operation: Check if the air source pressure is insufficient, if the air circuit is blocked, and if the cylinder needs lubrication
-
External Leakage: Check if the seals are damaged, if the connections are loose, replace the seals or re-tighten the connections if necessary
-
Abnormal Noise: Check if the air source pressure is stable, if there are impurities inside the valve, and if the moving parts need lubrication
