Installation Steps

- Use a cleaning cloth to wipe the pipe threads and bushing threads, ensuring no impurities, oil, or damage
- Confirm that the female and male threaded ends of the bushing match the corresponding pipes

Sealing Treatment
- Wrap an appropriate amount of Teflon tape (usually 4-6 turns) evenly in a clockwise direction on the male threaded end
- Or apply an appropriate amount of thread sealant evenly on the threads
- Additional sealing material is usually not required for the female threaded end, unless the pipe's male thread is short

Connecting the Male Threaded End
- Gently hand-tighten the male threaded end of the bushing into the female-threaded pipe or equipment interface
- Ensure proper thread alignment
- Continue hand-tightening until slight resistance is felt

- Use a wrench to moderately tighten the bushing, being careful not to over-tighten
- Typically, an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench after hand-tightening is sufficient
