    2. Working Principle

    Single-Acting Cylinder (Spring Return):

    1. Extension Process: Compressed air enters the cylinder, pushing the piston and piston rod outward
    2. Retraction Process: Air is exhausted from the cylinder, and the piston and piston rod automatically retract by spring force

    Double-Acting Cylinder:

    1. Extension Process: Compressed air enters the rodless chamber of the cylinder, pushing the piston and piston rod outward
    2. Retraction Process: Compressed air enters the rod chamber of the cylinder, pushing the piston and piston rod inward

    Key Operating Parameters:

    • Working medium: Clean compressed air (40μm filtration recommended)
    • Working pressure range:
      • Single-acting: 0.1-0.7MPa
      • Double-acting: 0.2-0.7MPa
    • Operating temperature range: -10-70℃ (no freezing)
    • Piston speed range: 50-500mm/s
    • Proof pressure: 1.05MPa

    3. Installation and Connection

    Installation Preparation:

    1. Confirm that the installation environment meets temperature requirements
    2. Prepare necessary installation tools and accessories
    3. Check that the cylinder exterior is intact without damage or deformation

    Installation Steps:

    1. Select Installation Location:

      • Ensure there is sufficient space for the cylinder to fully extend and retract
      • Avoid installation in high-temperature, strong magnetic field, or highly corrosive environments
      • Ensure the mounting surface is flat and clean
    2. Secure the Cylinder:

      • Use appropriate bolts to fix the cylinder
      • Avoid over-tightening which may cause cylinder body deformation
      • Ensure the cylinder is securely mounted without looseness
    3. Air Pipe Connection:

      • Confirm air source pressure is within the specified range
      • Use air pipes with outer diameter 4mm and inner diameter 2.5mm
      • Adjust side pipe joint direction as needed (within ±90° range)
      • Ensure air pipe connections are secure and leak-free
    4. Piping Precautions:

      • Thoroughly clean the inside of air pipes before piping to prevent impurities from entering the cylinder
      • Pipe length should be appropriate, avoiding excessive bending or stretching
      • It is recommended to install filters and pressure regulators before the air inlet

    CJ1(4)

    4. Operating Instructions

    Initial Use:

    1. Slowly increase air pressure to working pressure, observe if the cylinder moves smoothly
    2. Test piston rod extension and retraction movements, confirm no abnormal noise or jamming
    3. Check if pipe connections are secure and leak-free

    Daily Operation:

    1. Pressure Adjustment:

      • Adjust working pressure according to load size
      • Use lower pressure for light loads, higher pressure for heavy loads
      • Maximum pressure not exceeding 0.7MPa
      • Regularly check if pressure is stable
    2. Speed Control:

      • Control piston speed by adjusting flow control valves
      • Recommended speed range: 50-500mm/s
      • Avoid excessive speed which may cause impact and vibration
      • Avoid too slow speed which may cause crawling phenomenon
    3. Maintenance:

      • Regularly check if air pipe connections are secure and free from leaks
      • Keep the cylinder surface clean, prevent dust and impurities from entering
      • Check if piston rod surface is damaged, replace if necessary
      • If not in use for a long period, release air pressure and keep piston rod in retracted state

    Safety Precautions:

    1. Ensure all mounting bolts are securely tightened before operation
    2. Avoid contact with moving parts when the cylinder is working
    3. Must cut off air supply during maintenance or adjustment
    4. Do not exceed maximum working pressure to avoid equipment damage
    5. Avoid use in environments with corrosive gases or liquids

    CJ1(5)

    5. Troubleshooting

    Common Problems and Solutions:

    1. Cylinder Does Not Move

      • Check if air source pressure is normal
      • Confirm if air pipe connections are correct and free from leaks
      • Check if there are foreign objects stuck inside the cylinder
    2. Abnormal Movement Speed

      • Check if air source pressure is stable
      • Confirm if flow control valve adjustment is appropriate
      • Check if internal cylinder seals are worn
    3. Piston Rod Deviation

      • Check if installation is correct and free from tilting
      • Confirm if load is centered to avoid eccentric load
      • Check if piston rod is bent or damaged
    4. Abnormal Noise or Vibration

      • Confirm if working pressure is too high
      • Check if load is too large or uneven
      • Check if cylinder installation is secure
    5. Seal Leakage

      • Check if seals are worn or damaged
      • Confirm if working pressure is within specified range
      • Check if working medium is clean

    Maintenance Recommendations:

    • If the fault cannot be resolved independently, please contact WENK Pneumatic technical support
    • Regularly check wear conditions of key components and replace wearing parts timely
    • Professional technical personnel are recommended for maintenance work
    • Original accessories are recommended when replacing parts to ensure compatibility and performance
