CJPT Needle Type Cylinder Operating Manual

1. Product Introduction
The CJPT Needle Type Cylinder by WENK Pneumatic is a high-precision compact double-acting pneumatic actuator manufactured with stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability. This product is suitable for industrial automation scenarios with limited space requiring precise linear motion, particularly for medical equipment, precision machinery, and automated production lines.

2. Working Principle
The CJPT needle cylinder uses compressed air to drive the piston, achieving reciprocating linear motion of the piston rod:
- Extension Process: Compressed air enters the rodless chamber of the cylinder, pushing the piston and piston rod outward
- Retraction Process: Compressed air enters the rod chamber of the cylinder, pushing the piston and piston rod inward
- Buffering Mechanism: Rubber bumpers at both ends absorb impact energy, reducing noise and vibration

- Working medium: Clean compressed air (40μm filtration recommended)
- Working pressure range:
- 6mm bore: 0.12-0.7MPa
- 10mm/15mm bore: 0.06-0.7MPa
- Operating temperature range:
- Without magnetic switch: -10-70℃
- With magnetic switch: -10-60℃
- Piston speed range: 50-500mm/s
- Lubrication: Non-lube (Turbine oil No.1 ISOVG32 recommended if lubrication is needed)

3. Installation and Connection
Installation Preparation:
- Confirm that the installation environment meets temperature requirements
- Prepare necessary installation tools and accessories
- Check that the cylinder exterior is intact without damage or deformation
Installation Steps:

Select Mounting Method:
- Basic type (B): Directly fix through cylinder body mounting holes
- Flange type (F): Mount through front flange
- Foot type (L): Mount through bottom foot
- Earring type (D): Mount through earring
- Trunnion type (T): Mount through trunnion

Secure the Cylinder:
- Use appropriate bolts (recommended strength grade 8.8 or higher)
- Ensure the mounting surface is flat and bolt torque meets requirements
- Avoid over-tightening which may cause cylinder body deformation

Air Pipe Connection:
- Confirm air source pressure is within the specified range
- Use appropriate air pipes and fittings to connect to air inlets (M5×0.8 thread)
- It is recommended to install filters and pressure regulators before the air inlet
- Correctly connect air inlet and outlet according to markings on the cylinder body

Magnetic Switch Installation (optional):
- Select appropriate magnetic switch model (such as 97, 93A, etc.)
- Install magnetic switches in the reserved mounting slots on the cylinder body
- Adjust switch position to ensure accurate piston position detection
- Correctly connect electrical wiring according to switch instructions

4. Operating Instructions
Initial Use:

- Test piston rod extension and retraction movements, confirm no abnormal noise or jamming
- Check if piston rod movement is linear without deviation
Daily Operation:

Pressure Adjustment:
- Adjust working pressure according to load size
- Use lower pressure for light loads, higher pressure for heavy loads
- Maximum pressure not exceeding 0.7MPa
- Regularly check if pressure is stable

Speed Control:
- Control piston speed by adjusting flow control valves
- Recommended speed range: 50-500mm/s
- Avoid excessive speed which may cause impact and vibration
- Avoid too slow speed which may cause crawling phenomenon

Maintenance:
- Regularly check if air pipe connections are secure and free from leaks
- Keep the cylinder surface clean, prevent dust and impurities from entering
- Check if piston rod surface is damaged, replace if necessary
- If not in use for a long period, release air pressure and keep piston rod in retracted state
