CRB2 Series Vane Type Rotary Cylinder User Guide

Product Overview
The CRB2 series vane type rotary cylinder represents WENK Pneumatic's compact pneumatic rotary actuator designed for precise angular motion control in automated systems. Featuring an innovative vane structure, these cylinders achieve rotational movement through compressed air drive, making them ideal for positioning, indexing, flipping, and sorting applications in automation scenarios.
The CRB2 series offers both single vane and double vane configurations. Single vane models provide 90°, 180°, or 270° rotation, while double vane models offer 90° or 100° rotation. Bore sizes range from 10mm to 40mm, catering to different torque and installation space requirements. The aluminum alloy body construction ensures strength while reducing weight, making it suitable for weight-sensitive applications.
Equipped with a built-in angle adjustment mechanism, these cylinders allow precise rotation angle adjustment. Multiple mounting options and port configurations provide flexible installation possibilities. Magnetic switches can be optionally integrated for precise rotational position detection and control.

- Confirm air supply pressure is within the specified range
- Check for correct piping connections
- Ensure operating temperature is within the allowable range
- Verify secure installation of the cylinder
- Confirm angle adjustment is correct
-
Basic operation
- Forward rotation: Compressed air enters from one port, driving the vane to rotate
- Reverse rotation: Compressed air enters from the other port, driving the vane to rotate in the opposite direction
- Double acting cylinders provide power in both directions for bidirectional rotation
-
Pressure adjustment

-
Speed adjustment
- Adjust rotation speed using speed controllers
- Turn the speed controller knob clockwise to decrease speed
- Turn the speed controller knob counterclockwise to increase speed
- Ensure speed is within the specified range
-
Load considerations
- Ensure the load does not exceed the cylinder's maximum allowable load
- Avoid radial and thrust loads exceeding specified values
- Consider the effect of inertial forces on the cylinder
- Avoid sudden loading or unloading during rotation
