WENK Pneumatic CY1L Rodless Cylinder

The CY1L series represents a high-performance magnetically coupled rodless cylinder design featuring precision ball bushing bearings for ultra-smooth operation and exceptional stability. By eliminating the traditional piston rod and utilizing industrial-strength magnetic coupling between the internal piston and external carriage, this cylinder delivers synchronous linear motion with minimal friction and maximum efficiency.

Available in bore sizes from 6mm to 40mm with strokes up to 1500mm, the CY1L operates at speeds ranging from 50 to 500mm/sec (with low-speed options down to 7mm/sec) and pressures from 0.18 to 0.71MPa. Its robust construction and integrated cushioning make it ideal for long-stroke applications requiring precise positioning, such as material handling systems, automated assembly lines, and precision machinery in electronics, automotive, and packaging industries.

    Product Introduction

The CY1L series represents a high-performance line of magnetically coupled rodless cylinders featuring precision ball bushing bearings for ultra-smooth operation and exceptional stability. By eliminating the traditional piston rod and utilizing industrial-strength magnetic coupling between the internal piston and external carriage, these cylinders deliver synchronous linear motion with minimal friction and maximum efficiency.

    Working Principle

The CY1L series magnetically coupled rodless cylinders operate based on magnetic coupling technology:

    1. A set of high-strength permanent magnetic rings are installed on the piston
    2. Another set of magnetic rings are installed inside the external slider
    3. The two sets of magnetic rings have opposite polarities, creating a strong attractive force
    4. When the piston is pushed by air pressure inside the cylinder tube, it drives the external slider to move synchronously through magnetic force
    5. There is no mechanical connection between the piston and slider; magnetic force is transmitted through the thin-walled cylinder tube
    6. Precision ball bushing bearings ensure smooth slider movement with minimal friction
