KTC Series Compression Fittings Straight Connector User Guide

Product Introduction
The KTC Series Compression Fitting Straight Connector is a high-quality pneumatic connection component manufactured by WENK Pneumatic. Made from premium H59 brass, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. This fitting is designed for straight connection of copper pipes in compressed air systems, forming a reliable seal through the compression action of the ferrule. It is suitable for copper, brass, and stainless steel pipes.

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Ensure the working environment is clean, free from dust and impurities
- Check that the fitting and pipe are intact and undamaged
- Prepare necessary tools: pipe cutter, deburring tool, torque wrench
-
Pipe Preparation
- Cut the pipe to the required length using a pipe cutter, ensuring a clean and perpendicular cut
- Use a deburring tool to remove burrs and sharp edges from both ends of the pipe
- Wipe the pipe surface with a clean cloth to ensure no oil or impurities
-
Fitting Installation
- Slide the nut and ferrule onto the pipe in sequence
- Fully insert the pipe into the bottom of the fitting body, ensuring it contacts the bottom step
- Hand-tighten the nut gently to ensure initial positioning of the ferrule
- Use a torque wrench to tighten the nut to the specified torque value (do not over-tighten)
-
Installation Inspection
- After installation, check if the pipe has any axial movement
- Check for any leakage at the connection point
- Perform a system pressure test to confirm the reliability of the connection
