KtL Series Copper Locknut Elbow Fitting User Guide

Product Introduction
The KtL Series Copper Locknut Elbow Fitting is a high-quality 90-degree pneumatic connection component manufactured by WENK Pneumatic. Made from premium H59 brass with nickel plating, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. This fitting is designed for 90-degree directional connections in compressed air systems and is compatible with various hoses including PA, PU, and PE.

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Ensure the working environment is clean, free from dust and impurities
- Check that the fitting and hose are intact and undamaged
- Prepare necessary tools: wrench, pipe cutter
-
Hose Preparation
- Cut the hose to the required length using a pipe cutter, ensuring a clean cut
- Remove any burrs or debris from the inside of the hose
- If the hose is stiff, moderately heat the end to facilitate insertion
-
Fitting Installation
- Unscrew the locknut and slide it onto the hose
- Fully insert the hose into the fitting body, ensuring it is properly seated
- Tighten the locknut using a wrench (do not over-tighten)
- Check that the connection is secure and the hose is not loose
-
System Connection
- Connect the threaded end of the fitting to the corresponding component in the pneumatic system
- Use appropriate sealing material (such as PTFE tape) to ensure a tight threaded connection
- Tighten the threaded connection moderately to avoid thread damage from excessive force
