KtU Series Copper Locknut Double-Ended Straight Fitting User Guide

Product Introduction
The KtU Series Copper Locknut Double-Ended Straight Fitting is a high-quality pneumatic connection component manufactured by WENK Pneumatic. Made from premium H59 brass with nickel plating, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. This fitting is designed for direct connection of two hoses with the same diameter in compressed air systems and is compatible with various hoses including PA, PU, and PE.

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Ensure the working environment is clean, free from dust and impurities
- Check that the fitting and hoses are intact and undamaged
- Prepare necessary tools: wrench, pipe cutter
-
Hose Preparation
- Cut both hoses to the required lengths using a pipe cutter, ensuring clean cuts
- Remove any burrs or debris from the inside of the hoses
- If the hoses are stiff, moderately heat the ends to facilitate insertion
-
Fitting Installation
- Unscrew the locknuts from both ends and slide them onto the respective hoses
- Fully insert both hoses into each end of the fitting body, ensuring they are properly seated
- Tighten the locknuts on both ends using a wrench (do not over-tighten)
- Check that both connections are secure and the hoses are not loose
-
System Testing
- After connection is complete, perform a system pressure test
- Check for any leakage at the connection points
- Confirm that airflow is smooth
