SM Male Thread Aluminum Alloy C-Type Quick Coupling User Guide

Product Introduction
The SM Male Thread Aluminum Alloy C-Type Quick Coupling is a high-quality quick-connect fitting manufactured by WENK Pneumatic, specifically designed for pneumatic and fluid transfer systems. This product is made from premium aluminum alloy material, offering lightweight, high strength, and corrosion resistance. The coupling features a male thread on one end and a C-type camlock structure on the other, enabling tool-free quick connection and disconnection. It is widely used in air compressors, fluid transfer systems, pneumatic tools, and other industrial applications.

Installation Instructions
-
Preparation:
- Ensure the coupling specifications match the pipe/hose size
- Clean the connection surfaces to ensure no burrs, impurities, or oil stains
- Check if the seals are intact
-
Installation Steps:
- Connect the male thread end to the corresponding female threaded joint or pipe
- Use a suitable wrench to tighten the male thread connection, ensuring a secure fit
- Insert the matching C-type joint into the camlock end
- Press down the cam lever until a "click" sound is heard, indicating the connection is in place
-
Installation Notes:
- Avoid over-tightening the male thread during installation to prevent thread damage
- Ensure the cam lever is completely closed to prevent leakage
- Before installation, a small amount of sealant or Teflon tape can be applied to the threads to enhance sealing performance

Usage Instructions
-
Connection Operation:
- Insert the male end into the female C-type interface
- Press the cam lever down to the locked position
- Gently pull to check if the connection is secure
-
Disconnection Operation:
- Lift the cam lever to the unlocked position
- Directly pull out the male end to complete disconnection
- Avoid excessive force when disconnecting to prevent fluid splashing
-
Usage Notes:
- Avoid frequent connection and disconnection under high pressure
- Do not exceed the maximum working pressure of the coupling
- Regularly check the connection status to ensure no leakage

Maintenance
-
Regular Inspection:
- Regularly check the coupling surface for signs of corrosion
- Check if the seals are aged or damaged
- Check if the cam mechanism is flexible and reliable
-
Cleaning and Lubrication:
- Keep the coupling surface clean, avoid accumulation of dust and impurities
- Regularly wipe the coupling surface with a clean cloth
- For couplings in long-term use, a small amount of lubricating oil can be added to the cam mechanism
-
Storage Notes:
- When not in use, store the coupling in a dry, ventilated environment
- Avoid direct sunlight and rain
- Clean and apply anti-rust oil before storage

Troubleshooting
-
Leakage Issues:
- Check if the cam lever is completely closed
- Check if the seals are damaged, replace if necessary
- Check if the male thread connection is tight
-
Connection Difficulties:
- Check if the male and female ends are compatible
- Clean dust and impurities from the interface
- Check if the cam mechanism is stuck, add lubricating oil if necessary
-
Cam Lever Inflexibility:
- Check if there are foreign objects stuck in the cam mechanism
- If jamming is caused by rust, add lubricating oil and operate multiple times
- If the problem is severe, replacement of the coupling is recommended
