    Installation Steps

    1. Confirm installation location and space requirements

      • Ensure the mounting surface is flat and sufficiently strong
      • Reserve appropriate space for piping and wiring
      • Verify required installation space based on the model, especially considering the swing range
    2. Secure the gripper body

      • Use appropriate screws to fix the gripper to the mounting surface
      • Select the correct mounting screw specifications based on bore size
      • Use the reference diameter and pin holes on the body for precise positioning
      • Ensure secure installation to avoid accuracy issues due to looseness
    3. Adjust the swing angle

      • Use the angle adjustment screws to adjust the swing range
      • 90° type can be adjusted within 80°~100°
      • 180° type can be adjusted within 160°~200°
      • Confirm the swing position using the scale marks on the side of the body
    4. Install fingers and accessories

      • Install appropriate fingers or fixtures based on application requirements
      • Secure fingers using the finger mounting threaded holes
      • Ensure parallel and symmetrical installation of fingers
    5. Piping connection

      • Confirm the opening/closing and swing directions of the gripper
      • Connect to air ports using appropriate air tubes and fittings
      • Ensure proper piping seal to prevent leaks
      • Pay attention to piping arrangement to avoid interference during swinging
    6. Magnetic switch installation (optional)

      • Install magnetic switches if position detection is required
      • Magnetic switches can be installed for both gripper opening/closing and swing end positions
      • Adjust switch position for accurate detection of desired positions

    Operation Guide

    1. Pre-start checks

      • Confirm air supply pressure is within the specified range
      • Check for correct piping connections
      • Ensure operating temperature is within the allowable range
      • Verify proper installation of fingers and fixtures
      • Confirm swing range is correctly adjusted and no interference risks exist
    2. Basic operation

      • Control gripper opening/closing and swinging by supplying and exhausting compressed air
      • Gripper opening/closing:
        • Finger closing: Compressed air enters from the "close port"
        • Finger opening: Compressed air enters from the "open port"
      • Swing control:
        • Forward swing: Compressed air enters from the "forward rotation port"
        • Reverse swing: Compressed air enters from the "reverse rotation port"
    3. Gripping force adjustment

      • Adjust gripping force by regulating operating air pressure
      • Higher air pressure results in greater gripping force
      • Select appropriate gripping force based on workpiece weight and material
      • Ensure sufficient gripping force to prevent workpiece slippage, but not excessive to cause workpiece deformation
    4. Swing speed adjustment

      • Adjust swing speed by regulating flow control valves
      • Adjust both forward and reverse swing speeds to ensure smooth operation
      • Avoid excessive speed that may cause impact and vibration
    5. Position control

      • Use magnetic switches to detect gripper opening/closing and swing positions
      • Achieve precise position control through PLC or control system
      • Adjust swing angle and position according to production requirements

    Maintenance

    1. Daily inspection

      • Check for piping leaks
      • Verify smooth operation of the gripper
      • Inspect fingers and fixtures for wear or damage
      • Confirm proper operation of magnetic switches (if installed)
      • Check swing angle accuracy
    2. Regular maintenance

      • Every 3 months:
        • Clean the exterior of the gripper
        • Check for loose mounting screws
        • Inspect wear on fingers and fixtures
      • Every 6 months:
        • Replace grease
        • Check the operating status of magnetic switches
        • Perform comprehensive functional testing
      • Annually:
        • Inspect the condition of seals
        • Check the wear condition of the swing mechanism
        • Replace worn components
    3. Lubrication

      • The MRHQ series is designed for maintenance-free operation and typically does not require additional lubrication
      • For long-term use or in harsh environments, add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil as needed
      • Use the recommended lubricant type and avoid incompatible lubricants
      • Pay special attention to the lubrication of the swing mechanism
