Product Overview
The MRHQ series rotary air gripper represents SMC's innovative solution that seamlessly integrates gripping and rotating functions into a compact unit. Designed specifically for handling and reversing workpieces on transfer lines, this all-in-one system eliminates the need for peripheral piping and wiring associated with traditional combinations of rotary tables and air grippers.
Featuring a modular construction, the MRHQ series supports five-directional mounting and is compatible with magnetic switches for position detection. Standard swing angles are 90° and 180°, each adjustable by ±10° for precise positioning control. This versatile gripper is ideal for automated production lines, assembly processes, and robotic systems, combining efficiency, precision, and space-saving design.

Installation Steps

- Ensure the mounting surface is flat and sufficiently strong
- Reserve appropriate space for piping and wiring
- Verify required installation space based on the model, especially considering the swing range

- Select the correct mounting screw specifications based on bore size
- Use the reference diameter and pin holes on the body for precise positioning
