    Installation Steps

    1. Preparation

      • Verify that the product model and size match your piping system requirements
      • Prepare necessary tools: wrench, thread sealant or Teflon tape, cleaning cloth
      • Inspect the pipe and fitting for any damage or debris
    2. Cleaning

      • Use a cleaning cloth to wipe the pipe threads and elbow threads, ensuring no debris, oil, or damage is present
      • Pay special attention to removing any debris from the internal threads
    3. Sealing Preparation

      • Wrap an appropriate amount of Teflon tape (usually 4-6 turns) clockwise around the male threaded end (either on the pipe or the elbow)
      • Or apply an even layer of thread sealant to the threads
      • Note: Only use sealing material on the male threads; no additional sealing material is needed for female threads
    4. Connection

      • First, gently hand-tighten the male threaded end of the elbow into the female threaded pipe or equipment interface
      • Ensure proper thread alignment while hand-tightening
      • Continue hand-tightening until slight resistance is felt
    5. Tightening

      • Use a wrench to moderately tighten the elbow, being careful not to over-tighten
      • Typically, an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench after hand-tightening is sufficient
      • Then, thread the male end of the other pipe into the female end of the elbow
      • Again, hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to moderately tighten
    6. Inspection

      • After installation, check that all connections are secure
      • Ensure the elbow is oriented correctly according to design requirements
      • Verify all connections are properly completed before pressurizing the system

    Precautions

    1. Before Installation

      • Do not use damaged fittings or pipes
      • Ensure the work area is clean to prevent debris from entering the piping system
      • Check that threads are in good condition
      • Confirm that the elbow's internal and external thread specifications match the pipes
    2. During Installation

      • Do not apply excessive force when tightening, as this may damage threads or fittings
      • Avoid using tools that could damage the fitting's surface
      • Ensure the elbow is oriented correctly according to the piping system design
      • Only use sealing material on male threads; no additional sealing material is needed for female threads
    3. During Use

      • Do not exceed the product's rated working pressure and temperature range
      • Regularly inspect connection points for signs of leakage or damage
      • Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the fitting to severe impact
      • Perform regular maintenance based on the characteristics of the medium being transported
    4. Maintenance

      • Regularly inspect and maintain according to system usage conditions
      • If any damage or leakage is found, replace or repair promptly
      • Before reactivating a system that has been unused for a long period, check the condition of all fittings
