SCU Series Double Barb Fittings User Guide

Product Introduction
The SCU Series Double Barb Fitting is a high-quality straight pneumatic connection component manufactured by WENK Pneumatic. Made from premium brass material, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Both ends of the fitting feature barbed designs for hose connection, and the straight structure enables it to extend or connect hoses in pneumatic systems.

Installation Instructions
-
Preparation
- Ensure the working environment is clean, free of dust and impurities
- Check the hoses for damage and ensure their inner diameters match the fitting specifications
- Prepare necessary tools: pipe wrench, etc.
-
Installation Steps
- Clean the fitting surface and hose inner walls with a clean cloth
- Apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the hose inner walls (optional) for easier insertion
- Push each of the two hoses firmly onto the barbed ends until they reach the base of the barbs
-
Installation Notes
- Ensure all hoses are fully inserted onto the barbed portions without gaps
- For high-pressure systems, it is recommended to use hose clamps to secure the hose connections
- Avoid subjecting the fitting to severe impact or twisting
