SL Series Stainless Steel Elbow Flow Control Valve User Guide

Product Introduction
The SL Series Stainless Steel Elbow Flow Control Valve from WENK Pneumatic is a high-quality stainless steel pneumatic flow control component designed specifically for pneumatic systems requiring precise air flow regulation. This product features a 90-degree elbow structure with a male thread on one end, a push-in port on the other, and an integrated flow control knob, enabling both right-angle connection and precise air flow adjustment in pneumatic pipelines.

Product Features
- Constructed from stainless steel for excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance
- 90-degree elbow design, suitable for installation in space-constrained environments
- Male thread on one end for connecting to female threaded interfaces
- Push-in port on the other end for connecting PU tubes
- Integrated flow control knob for precise air flow adjustment
- Available in multiple sizes (4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm)
- Thread specifications include G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2
- Suitable for compressed air systems

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Confirm that the SL Series Stainless Steel Elbow Flow Control Valve size matches the tube size and female threaded interface
- Prepare the required size of PU tube and appropriate tools
- Ensure the work area is clean and free of debris
-
Installation Process
- Wrap an appropriate amount of Teflon tape around the male threaded fitting, being careful not to block the air passage
- Thread the male fitting into the female port, using a suitable wrench to tighten, being careful not to overtighten
- Cut the end of the PU tube straight, ensuring a perpendicular cut
- Push the PU tube into the push-in port; a "click" sound indicates proper installation
- To disassemble the tube, press the release sleeve on the push-in port and pull out the tube
-
Flow Rate Adjustment
- Rotate the flow control knob clockwise to decrease air flow rate
- Rotate the flow control knob counterclockwise to increase air flow rate
- Adjust the flow rate to the appropriate level according to system requirements
-
Installation Check
- Check for air leakage at the threaded connection
- Gently pull the tube to confirm a secure connection
- Adjust the flow control knob to check if the flow adjustment function is working properly
- Ensure the entire connection system is secure and reliable

Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the connector and tube connections to ensure no air leakage
- Keep the connector clean to prevent dust and debris from entering
- Periodically clean the flow control knob to ensure smooth adjustment
- Replace the connector promptly if any damage or aging is detected
- Avoid excessive bending or stretching of the connected tubes

Troubleshooting
-
Tube cannot be inserted: Check if the tube is damaged or deformed; confirm the tube size matches the connector
-
Air leakage at connection: Verify that the tube is fully inserted; check if the threaded connection is properly tightened
-
Flow cannot be adjusted: Check if the flow control knob is damaged; confirm if the knob is stuck due to foreign objects
-
Insufficient flow: Check for tube blockage; confirm if the connector size is suitable for system requirements
