SL Series Speed Control Valve User Guide

Product Introduction
The SL Series Speed Control Valve from WENK Pneumatic is a high-quality solid copper pneumatic flow control device designed specifically for pneumatic systems requiring precise control of air flow speed. This product features a male thread on one end and a push-in port on the other, capable of connecting PU tubes and precisely controlling air flow speed through an adjustment knob.

Product Features
- Constructed from solid copper for excellent corrosion and high-temperature resistance
- Integrated adjustment knob for precise control of air flow speed
- Male thread on one end for connecting to threaded interfaces
- Push-in port on the other end for connecting PU tubes
- Available in multiple sizes (4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm)
- Thread specifications include G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2
- Suitable for compressed air systems

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Confirm that the SL Series Speed Control Valve size matches the tube size and threaded interface
- Prepare the required size of PU tube and appropriate tools
- Ensure the work area is clean and free of debris
-
Installation Process
- Wrap an appropriate amount of Teflon tape around the threaded end, being careful not to block the air passage
- Use a suitable wrench to tighten the threaded end into the threaded interface, being careful not to overtighten
- Cut the end of the PU tube straight, ensuring a perpendicular cut
- Push the PU tube into the push-in port; a "click" sound indicates proper installation
- To disassemble the tube, press the release sleeve on the push-in port and pull out the tube
-
Flow Rate Adjustment
- Turn the adjustment knob clockwise to decrease flow rate
- Turn the adjustment knob counterclockwise to increase flow rate
- Adjust to the appropriate flow rate according to system requirements
-
Installation Check
- Check for air leakage at the threaded connection
- Gently pull the tube to confirm a secure connection
- Test the functionality of the adjustment knob
- Ensure the entire connection system is secure and reliable

Maintenance
- Regularly inspect the connector and tube connections to ensure no air leakage
- Keep the speed control valve clean to prevent dust and debris from entering
- Periodically clean the adjustment knob to ensure proper adjustment functionality
- Replace the speed control valve promptly if any damage or aging is detected
- Avoid excessive bending or stretching of the connected tubes

Troubleshooting
-
Tube cannot be inserted: Check if the tube is damaged or deformed; confirm the tube size matches the connector
-
Air leakage at connection: Verify that the tube is fully inserted; check if the threaded connection is properly tightened
-
Adjustment not working: Check if the adjustment knob is damaged; confirm if the internal valve core is blocked
-
Insufficient flow: Check for tube blockage; confirm if the speed control valve size is suitable for system requirements
