WPLF Series L-Type Female Threaded Elbow User Guide

Product Introduction
The WPLF Series L-Type Female Threaded Elbow is a high-quality 90-degree elbow connector manufactured by WENK Pneumatic. It is specifically designed for applications requiring pipe direction changes in pneumatic systems. This product features a push-in design on one end for quick tube connection and a female thread on the other end for secure attachment to male threaded components, making it an ideal choice for efficient pipe routing in space-constrained environments.

Product Features
-
90-Degree Elbow Design: Enables precise redirection of pipes, suitable for compact spaces
-
Push-In Connection: One end features a push-in design for quick tube connection, saving installation time
-
Female Thread Connection: The other end has a female thread design for secure connection with male threaded components
-
Premium Materials: Constructed from brass with nickel plating, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability
-
Multiple Specifications: Compatible with tubing diameters from 4mm to 12mm, with thread sizes including 1/8" to 1/2" NPT

Installation Preparation
Tools Required
- Pipe cutting tool (such as a pipe cutter or sharp scissors)
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Sandpaper or file (for removing burrs)
- Teflon tape or pipe thread sealant
- Appropriate size wrench
Materials Required
- WPLF Series L-Type Female Threaded Elbow
- Compatible pneumatic tubing (such as polyurethane, nylon, etc.)
- Male threaded components to be connected (such as valves, cylinders, etc.)

Installation Steps
Tube Preparation
- Use a pipe cutting tool to cut the tube vertically, ensuring a clean, burr-free cut
- Gently sand or file the edge of the cut to remove any burrs or sharp edges
- Measure and mark the length of tube that needs to be inserted into the fitting (typically 2-3 times the tube diameter)
Thread Preparation
- Inspect the male threaded component to be connected, ensuring the threads are intact and undamaged
- Wrap an appropriate amount of Teflon tape (in a clockwise direction) or apply pipe thread sealant to the male threads
- Ensure the Teflon tape or sealant evenly covers the entire threaded surface, but not excessively to avoid airway blockage
Fitting Installation
- Insert the prepared tube straight into the push-in port of the elbow fitting until it reaches the internal stop
- Gently pull the tube to confirm it is securely connected (the tube should not be easily pulled out)
- Align the female threaded end of the elbow with the male threaded component and gently thread it by hand
- Use a wrench to tighten moderately, but be careful not to overtighten to avoid damaging the threads
- After installation, check if the connection is secure and ensure there are no leaks

Install Accessories
5.1 Install accessories such as magnetic switches and buffers if needed.
5.2 Install the magnetic switch at a proper position on the cylinder barrel, and ensure it corresponds to the magnetic ring on the piston.
5.3 Connect the electrical circuits (such as the signal wire of the magnetic switch) and ensure correct wiring.
