YBSL Series Flow Control Valve User Guide

Product Introduction
The YBSL Series Flow Control Valve from WENK Pneumatic is a high-quality flow control component designed specifically for air flow regulation in pneumatic systems. By changing the cross-sectional area of the throttle orifice, this valve precisely controls the flow rate of compressed air, enabling accurate adjustment of the movement speed of pneumatic actuators.
Featuring a compact design with one-touch tube connections, the YBSL Series allows for quick and easy installation. The valve incorporates an integrated check valve function, permitting free flow in one direction while providing adjustable restriction in the opposite direction, making it ideal for controlling the speed of cylinders in pneumatic systems.
This product is suitable for clean compressed air systems and is available in multiple sizes (4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm) to accommodate different pipe diameter requirements.

Installation Steps
-
Preparation
- Ensure the system is depressurized for safe installation
- Check that the valve is intact, without cracks or scratches
- Select the appropriate YBSL Series Flow Control Valve to match the pipe specifications
- Prepare necessary tools and accessories
-
Installation Direction Confirmation
- The valve is clearly marked with a flow direction arrow; always install according to this indication
- Forward direction (free flow): fluid flows from the end pointed by the arrow
- Reverse direction (throttling): fluid flow from the opposite end will be controlled by throttling
-
Pipe Preparation
- Ensure pipe ends are clean and free of burrs or deformation
- When cutting pipes, ensure the cut is perpendicular and smooth
- If necessary, use dedicated tools to remove burrs from pipe ends
-
Installation Process
- Insert the pipe directly into the valve's one-touch fitting until a "click" sound is heard
- Gently pull the pipe to confirm a secure connection
- Ensure the valve is securely installed to prevent vibration during operation
-
Installation Verification
- Inspect all connection points to ensure proper installation
- Slowly apply system pressure and check for leaks
- Test the valve's adjustment function to ensure smooth operation

Usage Precautions
-
Operating Environment
- Avoid using the product outside the specified temperature (0°C ~ 60°C) and pressure (0.1 ~ 1MPa) ranges
- Only suitable for clean compressed air systems
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high-temperature environments
-
Operation Guidelines
- When adjusting flow rate, rotate the adjustment knob slowly to avoid sudden large adjustments
- Do not use the valve as a pipe support, as it is not designed to withstand additional pressure
- Do not apply excessive external force or impact to the valve
-
Maintenance
- Periodically inspect connection points to ensure no loosening or leakage
- If abnormal operation or leakage is detected, repair or replace the valve promptly
- Before reactivating a system that has been unused for a long period, check the valve condition

Troubleshooting
-
Flow Rate Cannot Be Adjusted
- Check if the adjustment knob is locked
- Inspect if the valve interior is blocked by debris, clean if necessary
- If the problem persists, replace the valve
-
Leakage Issues
- Check if the pipe connection is secure
- Inspect if the one-touch fitting is damaged, replace if necessary
- Check if the valve seals are damaged, replace the valve if necessary
-
Decreased Adjustment Precision
- Inspect if the valve interior is contaminated with debris or oil, clean if necessary
- Check if the adjustment mechanism is worn, replace the valve if necessary
